You can reach Somnath Temple by train, flight, or by road. Follow the below guidelines carefully for a better journey

By Train

From any major city of India, you can take a train to Somnath Railway Station which is the nearest station to the temple. The distance from Somnath Railway Station to the temple is approximately 1 kilometer.

If you do not get a direct train to Somnath Railway Station, you can reach Veraval Railway Station. From there, Somnath Temple is about 7 kilometers away.

From Veraval Railway Station, you can take an auto which charges around ₹50. Also, every half an hour, free buses are available from Veraval Railway Station to Somnath Temple. These buses are operated by the Somnath Temple Trust and are completely free.

By Flight

If you want to come by flight, the nearest airport is Keshod Airport, which is around 55 kilometers from Somnath Temple. If you do not get a flight to Keshod, you can take a flight to Diu Airport which is about 85 kilometers away from Somnath Temple.
