At the entrance there are counters for prasad and shoe keeping. Chandi Devi Temple is located on Neel Parvat in Haridwar and is one of the famous religious places. According to legend when demon kings Shumbha and Nishumbha started troubling gods Goddess Chandika Devi appeared here from the power of Goddess Parvati. She killed both demons here and rested for some time so this temple became very famous.

The temple has eight floors and you can go by stairs or lift for ₹5. Each floor has something different. Then we went to Vaishno Devi Temple in Haridwar which is built like a cave. Visitors pass through the cave and see different deities. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to visit this temple. After that we visited Swami Vivekananda Park where there is a huge statue of Lord Shiva. From there we went to Pawan Dham Sheesh Mahal which is decorated with mirrors and Kalash Temple.
Evening Ganga Aarti Experience
Then you can be returned to Har Ki Pauri Ghat where the evening Ganga Aarti was about to start. It was a wonderful experience to attend the Aarti. After the Aarti we sat at the ghat for some time which was very peaceful. If you also attend the Aarti stay for some time after it as it feels very good. After that we went for dinner and returned to our hotel.
Morning Aarti and Sunrise
Next day early morning we went to Har Ki Pauri Ghat for morning Aarti. The morning Aarti started at 5:15 AM. After the Aarti I sat at the ghat for some time. Watching the sunrise was a beautiful experience. People were bathing in the river and the calm atmosphere made it special.
