you can go to Gangtok either by train or by flight. If you want to go to Gangtok then you have to come to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. New Jalpaiguri Railway Station is well connected by trains from many big cities of India. After reaching New Jalpaiguri Railway Station you will get private taxis and sharing taxis outside the railway station for Gangtok.

The distance from New Jalpaiguri to Gangtok is about 117 km and this distance is covered in 5 to 6 hours whether by bus sharing taxi or private taxi. A private taxi will be booked for Gangtok for about ₹3500 to ₹4000 and in sharing taxi it will cost you about ₹350 per person.

If you have direct train facility from your city to Siliguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Railway Station then you can come to Siliguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Railway Station from your city.
